Where do I begin. Okay so I know things aren't that bad. They can always be worse, but life can feel so heavy when you are down and get hit again and again.
Audrey is still battling this cough, allergies, asthma thing which means I get very little sleep, not intentionally of course, I just worry. Then my clicker to my car goes out and my alarm goes off twice in the AM when no one else is my neighborhood is up... sorry neighbors :( On the way to drop Audrey off at school and go to work, my car starts making a grinding sound when I turn the steering wheel. Thank goodness for my grandfather who is a mechanic. He is on his way to check it out as we speak. Homework, ah yes, I have tons of homework as well and housework, that too.
However, it is the first day of Fall, even though it's going to be 90' here today. That makes me so happy. I can't wait till our leaves turn brown and defecate my yard so that I have to spend 2 days raking and filling bags until they are all out of my trees. That's okay, because eventually I will have them all raked and it will cool down into the 70's, seriously pushing sweater weather haha, the smell of Fall will linger in the air. We will decorate more for Halloween and then Thanksgiving, and Christmas. School breaks will grow closer. Oh so many things that I love about Fall. I just need the strength to get through this...
This blog is about me ; my life; my struggles, my happiness, and my family! I hope that if something I say reaches at least one person and helps them, then I have done something good.

Crock Pot Recipes: One of my favorite things about Fall.
As I am sitting here meal planning, I am getting so excited for all the warm fall & winter recipes. While it's still 90' here in Texas for the most part, I can't help but get excited for the warm delicious meals. One meal that I am so excited to try is the Slow Cooker Orange Chicken! It only requires 4 ingredients!!!! Then throw some Uncle Ben's steamed rice in the microwave for 90 seconds then some mixed veggies and you have one tasty meal!!
I will post my google sheet template that I use for making my meal planning. I use one per week. I like Google Sheets because I can access it from my phone or computer anywhere plus I can print it out and hang it as well!
Doesn't that look yummy?

Allergies, Asthma, & September... Oh! My!
After visiting Cook Children's ER this weekend, I have learned that September is the worst month for asthmatics. This would explain so much in regards to Audrey getting sick over the years. She was finally diagnosed last year and that made life more simple and more difficult all at the same time. As much as I love fall, it makes it difficult to enjoy with a sick kiddo. Hopefully now that we have her on some medication things will start to turn around for her. Here's to hoping!
